Project Management

Projects represent the foundation for change within organizations, as they are essential to keeping businesses aligned with the rapid pace of transformation in today’s economy. To successfully implement these changes, the focus must be placed on the value these projects generate, as well as on managing resources effectively to maintain scope, time, and cost within agreed boundaries.

In light of current conditions and the rise of Artificial Intelligence, the definition of a project has evolved:

“A temporary process undertaken to create one or a few units of a unique product or service, whose attributes are progressively elaborated.”

PMI

“Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements.”

PMI, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)

“Project Management is the planning, delegating, monitoring, and control of all aspects of the project, and the motivation of those involved, to achieve the project objectives within performance targets for time, cost, quality, scope, benefits, and risk.”

AXELOS, Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®
